Popis: | In this paper, the representation of chess readings adopting different notations in common figurine algebraic notation has been established. Following the analysis of chess readings, the transformations of recognized chess characters have been carried out, regarding chess moves have been made on chessboard, and the inaccuracies that may take place in character recognition have been eliminated by the strict control of possible moves. For character recognition, this work has exploited the heuristic approach along with the morphologic information regarding the notations. The outcomes of this paper may contribute to the generation of powerful game databases by the fast and flawless porting of chess games contained in chess books to computer environment. |
