Popis: | The heteroassociation of three optically active alcohols and both enantiomers of two sulphoxides was investigated by means of IR spectroscopy. The equilibrium constants calculated using the intensity of the bands of the free OH groups show remarkable differences due to the change of the configuration of one association partner. (The highest effect measured amounts to 3.4:1 due to this change). The enthalpy situation is much less, even at all, effected by changing the configuration of one partner. The obtained results were checked by calorimetry in one case. |
