Popis:	Foresaconitin, the Main Alkaloid from the Roots of Aconitum forestii Stapf Foresaconitin (1) was isolated as the main alkaloid (0.2%) from the roots of Aconitum Forestii Stapf and identified as the 8-O-acetyl-14-O-(4-methoxybenzoyl) derivative of 8β, 14α-dihydroxy- 1α, 6α, 16β-trimethoxy-4β-(methoxymethyl)aconitan known as chasmanin (2).
