Does a Doppler shift in the plasmon frequency have to be accounted when evaluating the role of electron–plasmon scattering in gallium arsenide?

Popis: We study the effect of a Doppler shift in the plasmon frequency, which arises due to hot electron drift on electron–plasmon scattering rates in GaAs. We show that one must take the account of the Doppler shift when simulating the hot-electron transport in high-purity GaAs.
