Popis:	A description is given of a newly built equipment for the dynamic investigation of roads and runways. Attention is paid mainly to the construction of a mechanical vibrator with adjustable eccentric masses designed to generate vertical sinusoidal forces. The paper further deals with auxiliary equipment and the measuring technique. Some test data are compared with those obtained with an old machine operating with fixed eccentric masses.
