Popis: | Investigating the relationships among animal phyla may shed some light on the evolution of Na/K ATPase. Using different attribute weighting algorithms, 1386 amino acid features in vertebrates were extracted and compared to find the differences between amino acid sequences in animal Na, K pump. Cys-Gln, Leu-Lys, Phe-Gly, and Ile-Gly have significant roles in the classification of the β -subunit isoforms. The relationships of proteins within and between different animal phyla were determined using two different algorithms. In phylogenetic tree, all invertebrate sequences were placed distinctly from the vertebrates in a separate group. In the vertebrate groups, different β-subunit isoforms were divided into four distinct groups, whereas they were not specifically separated from each other in invertebrate cluster. In decision tree, the count of Phe-Gly is located at the peak, as a prominent attribute, and has a role in all separating paths of different groups. Also, the results indicated that Naive Bayes was the best predictive machine learning algorithm. Here, for the first time, classifying Na, K-ATPase sequences was done through two different models and used a predictive system to predict the type of isoform of any new β-subunit sequence with a high degree of accuracy. |
