Cultivation of strains of phototrophic microalgae is accompaniedby active mass transfer. The purpose of this scientific study is to study the processof accumulation of microalgae biomass under the influence of the compositionand acidity of the environment. Microscopy and pH-metry were used as researchmethods. In the work, microalgae were tested: alkalophiles, acidophiles andnormophiles. Microalgae showed a high level of biomass accumulation underalkaliphilic conditions pH – 8.5\8.1 (beginning/end of cultivation). The rangeof acidophilic values at which microalgae showed activity was pH-2.0-3.2. Themaximum activity at the level of the growth lag phase pH 3.0\3.2 was 100%.It is assumed that the process of photosynthesis has adapted to the reducedlight intensity. When adding glucose in the dark phase, the concentration ofchlorophyll decreased. For the studied strains of microalgae from the group ofneutrophils, the possibility of adaptation to various pH values from extremelyacidic to alkaline conditions was found. It was found that sulfur-containingions significantly changed the pH and reduced the productivity of microalgae. The studied microalgae are planned to be used to study the prospects for theirapplication in various industries. |
