Popis: The Lowe syndrome is characterized by rickets, bone changes, hypotonia, absence of deep tendon reflex, cataract, glaucome, metabolic acidosis, aminoaciduria and such.An 8-year-old boy of this syndrome was reported. Thinning of cortex was observed in bone and teeth. The pathological fracture of metatarsal bone occurred with light force. Bone mass from the measurement of BMC decreased obviously. Bone-metabolic abnormality seemed to be caused by renal tubular involvement. The patient was kept under the treatment of Vitamin α-D3.
