Popis: The number of recognized cases of human brucellosis is increasing. Persons become infected with this disease by drinking raw milk and eating products from it, handling infected livestock and their carcasses, and eating improperly cooked meat. Pasteurization destroys the bacteria that cause brucellosis. An immersion type two-gallon home pasteurizer is described. It has features that make it possible to properly pasteurize milk in the home. This unit is simple, efficient and easy to operate.
