Popis: | This paper discusses the low cost alternate solution to the conventional corrugated horn antennas with low fabrication complexities. The proposed U-band hybrid corrugated horn antenna achieved similar performance to that of the conventional corrugated horns. It can be used for remote sensing applications, particularly for capturing atmospheric radiations. The paper also includes the sensitivity analysis and issues that conventional corrugated horns facing while fabrication. It was found that hybrid corrugated horn antenna can be easily fabricated using easy and low-priced fabrication technique. |
