Popis: | Multicomponent graft interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) elastomers composed of polyurethane, epoxy and polysiloxane were prepared by a sequential technique. Although the solubility parameters suggested phase separation, the compatibility could, nevertheless, be improved significantly by varying the polysiloxane/polyurethane ratio. Broad and high tan δ were observed from the dynamic mechanical analysis, suggesting that the multicomponent graft IPN is an effective absorbing material. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
