Nowadays, in view of ongoing digital transformation and new business capabilities provided by IT, almost all industries are forced to adapt and restructure the business model to ensure survival and competitiveness in the long run. The correct business requirements to the IT systems and IT infrastructure are the key factor of the successful implementation of IT projects. These business requirements should read the trends of the industry, the whole business environment, the new possibilities of IT technologies for a particular industry. The paper describes the way for setting business requirements for a new type of healthcare organization, which would become a prerequisite for further implementation of appropriate IT systems and digital technologies. The management model of a healthcare organization is additionally imposed with requirements and specific trends in the healthcare industry: a transition to the principles of value-based and personalized medicine. In this regard, the urgent task is to form such a model of management of a medical organization that, on the one hand, read current trends in the field of healthcare, and on the other, follow the latest IT trends and would provide opportunities for the effective use of modern digital technologies. |
