Popis: | In this paper, an octagonal shaped patch (OSP) antenna with co-planar waveguide feed is presented. The proposed antenna is operates at two frequency bands with a below −10dB reflection coefficient. The first frequency band is operates 9.8 to 11.6GHz with −24.6dB reflection coefficient at 10.6GHz resonating frequency, whereas the second band is operates 14 to 21.9GHz with −30dB reflection coefficient at 18.6GHz resonating frequency. The simulation results show that, the proposed antenna operates at dual band frequencies with impedance bandwidths 1.8 and 7.9 GHz respectively. The gain is observed 5.25 dBi and 4.67 dBi at respective frequencies. |
