Popis: | The article describes a mathematical model of heat transfer upon laser sintering of ultrafine powder materials with allowance for the spatial character of absorption of radiant energy. The characteristics of interaction of laser radiation with a powder layer have been determined experimentally using precise measurements of intensity of scattered and absorbed radiation as a function of the powder-layer thickness and scattering angle. It is demonstrated that the energy absorption by the powder layer can be described by the Bouguer law, and that the model based on a spatial source provides results comparable with the experimental ones. |
