Popis: It is possible to say that providing economic benefits from child labor dates to ancient times. However, the systematic exploitation of child labor as cheap labor emerges because of the Industrial Revolution. As a phenomenon due to many different and intertwined causes, child labor is an international problem that is thought to affect more than 200 million children worldwide. While child labor is an individual problem that negatively affects children spiritually, physically, and mentally, on the other hand, it is a social problem in terms of the potential of children for the future. For this reason, the issue of combating child labor is of great importance for the construction of a healthy society. Based on the importance of the subject, this study aims to determine the factors that cause child labor and to create suggestions for solutions based on the level of child labor in Turkey.
