Popis:	An extended thermodynamic Gibbs equation for oriented surface rigid dipolar molecules allows the comparison of theoretical and experimental results on grafted polymers in contact with water. Furthermore, the analysis of orientation process kinetics shows good qualitative agreement with the observed curve of the polar surface free energy vs time.
