| Popis: | The half-lives of thoron and actinon have been redetermined using a detector which depends on charcoal particle adsorption of the gas and measurement of the α-particles by scintillation screen, photomultiplier techniques. The new value for thoron half-life is 55·61 ± 0·04 sec, and the new value for actinon is 3·96 ± 0·01 sec. |
