Popis: | Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) is the latest achievement in terms of the main circuit topology in flexible HVDC, which has the merits of high modular, low harmonic content of output waveform and long maintenance interval. On the basis of analysis of topology and working principle, a strategy which adopts carrier phase shift modulation (CPS-SPWM), is proposed in this paper. Under low devices switching frequency, this strategy can realize high switching frequency, which will optimize harmonic characteristic of output waveform. Because of the unbalancing capacitor voltage and interphase circulating current, a new control strategy is proposed. Under the CPS-SPWM modulation, capacitor voltage-sharing factor and circulating current restraining factor are introduced which adjust vertical modulated wave of each submodule. This control strategy will balance capacitor voltage dynamic of each submodule and suppress interphase circulating current. Finally, the accuracy and validity of control strategy has been verified under MATLAB/Simulink environment. |
