Popis: | Radiological Findings: Computed tomographic (CT) scan findings were significant for degenerative changes at L2 through S1, with moderate to severe spinal stenosis at levels L2-3, L3-4, and L4-5. These joint spaces appeared widened. It was felt that the spurring, somewhat sclerotic surfaces, the eburnation, along with cystic changes, might represent a chronic crystal deposition disease. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan showed severe, multilevel degenerative disc disease; mild stenosis at L2-3 and L3-4; and severe stenosis at L4-5. The scan also showed a cyst-like structure at the left posterolateral portion of L4-5. The patient underwent a decompressive laminectomy and foramenectomy. |
