Combined Equivalent Circuit of a Single-Circuit Power Transmission Line with a Ground Wire

Popis: The paper presents a combined equivalent circuit for a single-circuit power transmission line with a ground wire. This mathematical model combines the advantages of the methods of phase coordinates and symmetric components. It makes it possible to take into account the asymmetrical arrangement of phase wires and a lightning protection cable on the tower, which is important for the correct determination of the mutual induction impedances and power transmission line capacitance. In this case, there is no need to simulate the entire electrical circuit in phase coordinates, which greatly simplifies the calculations. The results of calculating the parameters of the equivalent circuit of power transmission lines using the proposed equations showed their proximity to the reference data.
