Popis: | This paper presents a simplified new approach to evaluate the steady state performance characteristics of the single-phase self-excited induction generator. The proposed approach is based on the analysis of the admittance matrix of the machine equivalent circuit and avoids the common complicated mathematical processes associated with most of the known methods of analysis. It needs a simple computer algorithm to predict the steady state performance characteristics of both shunt and short shunt configurations. The close agreement between the theoretical results obtained using the proposed technique and those obtained experimentally proves the accuracy and validity of the presented approach. |
