Popis: Registration of evoked potentials on painless, painful and thermal stimulation in the trigeminal nerve system before and after local anesthesia allows estimating the effectiveness and depth of pain relief. The technique involves local anesthesia of the mental nerve with subsequent registration of evoked responses on the device by Nicolet (USA) with its evoked potential software "Bravo" . Cup electrodes attached with sticky electroconductive paste were used as recorders. The attachment place was pre-treated with abrasive so that the electrode resistance did not exceed 3 к. Three types of evoked potentials were recorded on the stimulation area of the face: 1. short-latency trigeminal evoked potentials on electrical stimulation (short latency TEP), 2. long latent fiberboard for non painful and painful electrical stimulation (long latent fiberboard), 3. long latent EP on selective stimulation of thin nerve fibers with thermal stimuli (thermal EP) Medoc Ltd, Ramat Yishai, Israel .
