Popis: | At Heineken UK, we have applied 5S principles to the legislation and guidance set out by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to develop a set of procedures and training materials to simplify the entire COSHH process and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Most notably, we have complete visibility of all COSHH assessments and safety data sheets through “COSHH Boards” and “COSHH Tubes” on each of our production lines for ease of access to critical information in an emergency. We have found these procedures and the application of 5S to drastically save time, improve COSHH assessment quality and chemical control across an entire site. The engagement and awareness of our colleagues on chemical safety has dramatically increased on our journey to a zero accident workplace. |
