Popis:	A radio-frequency electrodeless discharge cell for studying the emission spectra of organic molecules is described. This medium pressure source is stable and reproducible with and without sampling it is also self-initiating. Pressure, power, and flow rate studies as well as “gas temperature” measurements were made. Low and medium resolution spectra of aromatic and nonaromatic chlorinated hydrocarbons and chlorinated pesticides are discussed. A qualitative internal wavelength standard is also described.
