Popis: | The results of investigating technology of current interest, known as “chemical forming”, are set out. The laws governing the formation of matrices of reinforced thermoplastics during polymerisation of the initial monomers were studied. Several variants of the “glass fabric–polystyrene” model composition were investigated. The influence of lubricants, chemical components of the glass fibres, and the volume content of reinforcing fibres on the molecular weight of the polystyrene matrix was shown. |
