Popis: The advances in elbow endoscopy are extending the surgical capabilities, providing a greater understanding of the anatomy and pathology, and allowing patients to rehabilitate quicker, with less morbidity owing to the increased safety and reproducibility of the procedure. Endoscopic surgery around the elbow has grown to encompass ulnar nerve release and transposition in cubital tunnel syndrome. Olecranon bursoscopy has been utilised for olecranon bursectomy in the treatment of bursitis and resection of olecranon spurs. Furthermore, endoscopic techniques are being applied in the release of various nerve entrapment syndromes, excision of lesions, graft harvesting and stabilisation and reconstructive procedures. This chapter introduces some of the procedures involved in soft tissue endoscopy around the elbow, including ulnar nerve release and transposition, olecranon bursectomy and resection of the olecranon spur.
