Photodissociation of some perfluoroalkyl iodides in the vacuum ultraviolet part of the spectrum

Popis:	A determination was made of the absorption spectrum of (CF3)3CL (λ ≥ 125 nm) and of the spectral dependences of the absolute quantum yields of the I(2P1/2) and I(2P3/2) atoms in the photolysis of CF3I, C3F7I, CF3CFICF3, and (CF3)3CI in the vacuum-ultraviolet part of the spectrum (λ ≥ 155 nm). The mechanism of decay of the excited states of these iodides was analyzed.
