| Popis: | This paper presents a theoretical study based on an Integrative Literature Review, on the concept of Smart Cities (SC). In order to understand what are the opportunities of Design Management in this context, it identified two platforms that present indicators and criteria that guide cities in reaching the goal of SC. These were confronted with two cases, focusing on urban mobility, where it were found SC practices and opportunities, as well as for the insertion of Design Management at the strategic, tactical and operational levels.
