| Popis: | Summary Mice can be used for the determination of the antigenic power both of liquid and of alum-precipitated tetanal toxoid in place of guinea-pigs. An immunization-period of three weeks insures reproducible results in protective tests against 10 M MLD of tetanal toxin. A quantitative evaluation of the antigenic power can be effected by the use of dosage-response curves, expressing the antigenic power of various toxoids in terms of a selected standard. |
