A Fuzzy-Neuro Approach for Computer Assisted Fault Diagnosis of an Industrial Hydraulic System

Popis: In an industrial plant it is very important to find out the faults in the shortest possible way and time. The paper describes a way of analysing and representing a generic functional component and constructing the complex of components as a skeleton of the facts database on which the fault diagnosis expert system will rely. Then, through intelligent encoding of sensors’ signal, the fault diagnosis is performed, the faults and their possibility degree are displayed. A case study expert system is presented for the diagnosis of a high pressure hydraulic installation in a rolling mill plant.
