Popis: | Self-Consistent Nuclear Energy System simultaneously satisfying four objectives: energy generation, fuel breeding, transmutation of radionuclides and system safety has been proposed as a new phylosophical basis for further nuclear development. Transmutation of radionuclides is closely connected with the key element of Self-Consistent option - excess neutron generation which is assumed to be provided by external neutron source. The paper presented makes a special emphasis on excess neutron generation in fusion neutron source based on DD plasma. |
