Alkali resistant hemoglobin-F levels during O-5 years of life in normal Indian children

Popis:	Fetal hemoglobin estimations were made in 528 normal children between 0–5 years of age by using the alkali denaturation technique. The observation indicate that mean values at 1–11/2 years, 11/2–2 years and 2–3 years are 5.25±2.60, 5.34±3.10 and 2.90±3.8 per cent respectively. After 4 years of age, values more than 2.0% are rarely observed.
