In this paper, the design of the electrical part was considered a pulverized coal-fired power plant with four 400 MW generator units. Coal was chosen as the main fuel. The main power equipment was selected: Generators and transformers. The choice was made based on the given generation power. By minimizing the cost of equipment, the optimal structural scheme of the station was chosen, also relying on the reliability of the scheme and its flexibility in operation. To select electrical devices and live parts of the station, short-circuit currents were calculated for the characteristic points of the electrical circuit. The processes in the auxiliary power supply systems have been investigated, the processes of starting powerful electric motors for auxiliary needs and self-starting when powered from a working auxiliary transformer have been calculated. As a result of the design of the hydro-recirculating power plant received an explanatory note with justifying calculations, drawings of the main circuit of the electrical connections of the power plant and the design of the 500 kV power grid. |
