Distribution of manganese moments in magnetically ordered Mn5Si3C1.5 films

Popis: The distribution of magnetic moments at the manganese sites in magnetically ordered Mn–Si–C films is derived by zero-field 55 Mn NMR analysis. The spontaneous magnetization with an average moment of about 1 μB per Mn atom can thus be explained by the ferrimagnetic arrangement of individual Mn moments of (2.98±0.06) μB and (1.88±0.16) μB.
