Popis: | Tissue distributions of 14C-BaP and 113Sn-TBT, individually and together, were compared in mummichog by WBARG, after forced-feeding or intraperitoneal injection. Electron differential absorption (EDA) by metal foil was tested to visualize the distribution of 14C and 113Sn in tissue sections of animals exposed to both radiochemicals. Distribution of 14C and 113Sn in fish did not differ as a function of exposure route, but 14C liver/blood and bile/blood concentration ratios were lower in fish dosed with BaP + TBT. EDA allowed a clear differentiation of 14C and 113Sn signals and could be used to image other radionuclides pairs. |
