Popis: | This article intends to evaluate the influence of the printing temperature on the maximum tensile strength for plastic specimens fabricated via 3D printing. The materials evaluated were Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polylactic Acid (PLA), and Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol Modified (PETG). The manufactured samples were evaluated in accordance with ASTM D638. The results obtained allow to establish how the temperature of the nozzle affects the ultimate tensile strength of plastics and some guidelines are given in relation to the appropriate temperature according to the material used. |
