On the possibility to increase the polarization of the neutron beam at the Van de Graaff accelerator of the Charles University

Popis: It is shown that the production of neutrons using a polarized deuteron beam can increase the neutron polarization at the Van de Graaff of the Charles University. Polarized deuterons are proposed to produce via channelling through a single crystal nickel foil.
