Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is fairly new and is an important part of the Internet of Things (IoT). RFID is low-cost and is constantly being researched for possible applications. The new technology already has many real-world applications such as in health care, library systems, inventory tracking, and object detection. This paper presents a possible application of RFID in smart infrastructure; It looks at different methods that can be used to detect vibration in precast concrete structures and prevent possible damage during transportation. |
