Popis: | Unpolarized and polarized neutron-diffraction have been used on single crystals to study the magnetization distribution in the paramagnetic phase of nickel oxide NiO and cobalt oxide CoO. Highly accurate magnetic structure factors have been measured using the classical polarized beam technique. A detailed description of the magnetization distribution is presented, and compared to the previous results obtained in the ordered state. |
