Popis: Due to rich vascular tissues in the pelvic cavity, in complex hip replacement surgery, the hip prosthesis protruding into the pelvic cavity would cause damage to adjacent vessels, increasing the complexity of the surgery, and the possibility of vascular injury and mortality. We report a case of a 68-year-old woman who underwent Paprosky III hip arthroplasty with vascular intervention in conjunction with three-dimensional (3D) printing. Due to careful preoperative planning, the use of 3D printing technology to design hip prosthesis, interdisciplinary cooperation, the intraoperative by contrast placement of the balloon and stent, and other preventive measures, patient morbidity and mortality was significantly avoided.
