In this report which is based on the study of labor law act 2006 applied in a certain manufacturing industry. We have acknowledged and presented information regarding labor laws among employment in DBL.As a business institution related to garments and apparels in Bangladesh, we believe that the data obtained from the institution would serve as a good representative of most garment factories in the country.Labor law, mainly among employees, staffs and managers, is a very important are of study for any organization. Organizations which foster good relationships among the workers tend to attain greater efficiency and productivity, than organizations that do not. Therefore, we tried our best to attain a thorough knowledge about if the laws are being maintained or practiced or not thorough our questionnaire. In order to obtain relevant information, we undertook a survey of a certain number of employees and managers currently working in DBL by visiting in their factory site. The survey took us one day to perform and included questions regarding major topic areas of labor laws like payment satisfaction, working conditions and ethical values and workers participation among others. The questions were asked in a way so that the persons answering those feel comfortable in doing so. The answers to each question |
