IoT is one of the promising technology which is changing the prospects into a new dimension. The adoption of new technology will uplift the contemplation. Every useful mechanization will have its own pros and cons. One of the major concerns with IoT is privacy and security. Designing a secure IoT ecosystem will increase the rate of embracing of new technology in day-to-day life. Securing the IoT systems against cyber-attack is a mandate. Artificial intelligence is creating a revolution in the technology by its ability. In this paper, we are proposing a methodology to design smart and secure IoT systems which can think and act efficiently when it senses something queer. The goal is to come up with secure IoT systems which can detect and mitigate cyber-attacks. Here, we propose machine learning model to detect botnet attack in IoT network using N-BaIOT benchmark dataset. Our model is able to classify network flow as benign or attack with an accuracy of 99%. |
