Popis: | Suppositories consisting of varying amounts of hydrogenated cottonseed oil, Tweens, Sans, and Arlacels were incorporated with a dye and tested for the percentage of dye release at time intervals. Most of the suppositories were tested for storage qualities and seven were subjected to in vivo tests. Several of the proposed bases appear to be very promising and compare favorably in vivo with a commercial brand of suppository now being widely used. |
