Popis: Elizabeth Grosz teaches in the Women's and Gender Studies Department at Rutgers University. She is also a Visiting Professor of Architecture at Princeton University and at The University of Sydney. Her most recent books are The Nick of Time: Politics, Evolution and the Untimely (Allen and Unwin, 2004) and Time Travels: Feminism, Nature, Power (Allen and Unwin, 2005). ANZJA co-editor, Helen McDonald, interviewed Professor Grosz in Sydney on 22 July 2006 about the philosopher's current work towards a book on art and Deleuze. Also invited to participate were Sue Best, who teaches art history and theoiy at the College of Fine Arts at The University of New South Wales, and Philipa Rothfield, who teaches philosophy of the body, drawing upon dance practice as a site of the body's articulation, in the Philosophy Program at La Trobe University. Nicole Fermon, who teaches political theory in the Political Science Department at Fordham University and is the author oi Domesticating Passions: Rousseau, Woman, and Nation (Wesleyan University Press, 1997), was also present.
