Popis: The main objective of this article is to analyze, according to gender, job satisfaction in the labor market in Cameroon. To do this, we use data from the fourth Cameroon Household Survey (ECAM4) carried out in 2014 by the National Institute of Statistics. To estimate the determinants of job satisfaction, we use the estimation of a simple logit model. The results of the logit model regressions and robustness tests show that for the same income, the probability of a man being satisfied at work is less than that of a woman. Moreover, the estimate of the marginal effects shows overall that it is more likely for a woman who works part-time to be satisfied with her job than for a woman who works full-time or for a man.JEL Classification: J16-J28-C25-C13
