Popis: | Anomalous fluorescence behaviour is reported for the 4′- N , N -dimethylamino derivatives of 3-hydroxy- and 3-methoxy-flavone. The origin of these properties is ascribed to a solvent-or structurally-induced switching between the formation of a twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) state and excited-state intramolecular proton transfer in these systems. |
