Popis: | We have addressed temporal frequency chirped terahertz pulses to open possibilities of THz technologies. For this purpose, we investigate temporal frequency distributions of THz pulses generated from GaP crystal via optical rectification effect by using Hilbert transform analysis. It is observed that the distributions are changed drastically with respect to the chirp of the pump pulse. At certain chirp, non-trivial temporal frequency distribution, i.e., A- and/or V-shaped frequency shifts are observed. Using a simple model, origin of various temporal frequency distributions is discussed. |
