Intellectual System for Resource-Saving Repair Control of Refractory Lining of the Oxygen Converter

Popis: The article presents the structure of the intellectual system, which allows to estimate the ratio of the thickness of the residual refractory layer and the repair layers. The system is based on the information model of the steelmaking process. The criterion is the safe operation of the converter lining. The intellectual system is based on information support, including a database of technological process parameters, a knowledge base of safe criteria for the converter process, a database of laser scanning results, a database of hot repair type selection rules, a database of rules for displaying information about scan analysis results. Information support is configured for various modes of operation of the control object by changing the ranges of the corresponding parameters. This ensures the adaptation of the system to various modifications of the control object. Testing of the intellectual system confirmed its operability and the possibility of using the operator as an adviser for making decisions on the operation of the refractory lining of steelmaking converters in metallurgical enterprises.
