Popis: | An intense soft X-ray pulse of radiation ≈1 TW/cm2 generates in low (less than 50 mg/cm3) density foam nonlinear radiative heat waves, which propagate with a velocity several times higher than the sound velocity. A foam density of 5 mg/cm3 was achieved in experiments. The experimental measurements are compared with the one-dimensional computer simulations results. |
