Popis: | Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the most common cause of death worldwide with an estimated 7 million deaths per year. The majority of these deaths are due to acute myocardial infarction (AMI), so the burden of illness and mortality from AMI is immense worldwide. A region based study was designed and implemented in Government Medical College, Jammu. The outputs obtained have established that the various conventional risk factors like Sex, Age, Dietary pattern, Smoking, Alcohol consumption do have similar pattern in Jammu region as found in rest of the world.
